Made with Patients Awards について
Made with Patients アワードは、患者参画における革新者その人々を表彰する、初のグローバルなアワードです。PFMDが主催するこの賞は、医薬品開発、医療機器、デジタル ヘルス分野などにおける優れた貢献を表彰するものです。これは単なる賞ではなく、患者参画を医療健康のエコシステムのなかで、当たり前のこととなるための活動です。私たちの共通の目標は、医療健康のあらゆる側面で、患者参画を実現することです。重要なことは、「良い」患者参画がどのようなものかを示すことです。これまで、私たちは「優良事例集」を通じて、このことを行ってきました。それがこの表彰式を創設することにつながりました。この賞は、患者の声を医療健康のイノベーションに取り入れるために、参加するだけでなくリードする事例をつくる人々にスポットライトを当てます。
毎年、対面形式のPEOFで開催される授賞式では、通常、患者参画にかかわる様々なコミュニティーの関係者が集まり、選ばれた授賞候補者、個人、取り組みに対して表彰されます。これらの個人やグループは、医療や健康の問題解決にあたり、患者のニーズや視点を重視する模範的な取り組みに対して、複数の関係者で構成される厳正な審査員によって選出されます。PFMDが「Made with Patients」アワードを通じて目指すのは、効果的な患者参画を目指す人々のネットワークを拡大し、そのような人々を表彰する場を提供し、また、医療分野全体でこれらの実践が広く取り入れられるように促進することです。
この取り組みは、単に知っていただくためだけでなく、医療健康サービスや製品開発のあらゆる面において、根本的に患者中心に変革するよう促すことが目的です。
